I have visited the forum, and it is so, so, so funny, disturbing, and very weird.
Why are is an entire room full of where people have failed to 'get their target'. .... evidence that no man can get 'any girl he wants'.
Many people on that site are deluded.
You have not yet pulled using these techniques. You will not pull using these techniques.
No, I LIKE to be complimented on my looks.
EVERY WOMAN IS DIFFERENT!!!!!! EVERY MAN IS DIFFERENT.
To most, flirting should come naturally, you touch someone when you fancy them but when a random creep does it who you don't fancy... you back off.
I hate a random man chatting me up on the street, and by the looks of LSS, so do most girls.
tonights fantasy !

You seem to be almost fanatical in your defence of these systems and the pick-up artists, yet you seem to ignore the questions which I and others have asked. As I've already said, I'm honestly not laughing at you personally, but I suggest that the matter comes down to this:-
You would like to meet more, or interact better, with attractive women.
(Your reasons don't matter for this purpose). Fair enough.
So you spend time and money with individuals who present a "system" which seems to you to genuinely offer what you want. Fine.
You follow the advice conscientiously, but, despite that, the "system" doesn't work for you personally. Fair enough.
You blame this failure on your being "ugly". But I'm not convinced that this is the case...most of the rest of us (especially the girls) think that the system, putting the best interpretation on it, looks unlikely to succeed in the real world...but what do we know?
Let's assume, then, solely for this purpose, you are "ugly" (how do you define that?) and it all failed for that reason.
Then why do you defend the system so religiously, when it seems to only work for good-looking men?
Please explain, I really am puzzled.

As Dolly will vouch, I am a munter (not as goodlooking as Andy) yet this year, i have pulled. No targeting, search or destroy tactics or plying them with enough drink so their eyes dont function thus rendering incapable.
I really really think you ought to shut up Stonewastle
Sod Will Smith, Stonecastle. You Are Legend.

I too have visited the LSS forum (it would be wrong to condemn something without experiencing it) - and it really does seem not just unnatural, but plain spooky. I'm guessing my newly acquired membership will be terminated quite soon! It feels as if they're a bunch of misfits trying desperately to gang together and convince each other they're right - despite their frequently admitted (and apparantly totally unexpected) failures! One poster even enquires whether he might have contracted an STD from sucking a womans nipples (I kid you not).
Isn't this a latter day take on "The Emperor's New Clothes?" - 'Techniques', rather than clothes are being sold here, and obviously, they must work, as you'd be stupid, despite all evidence to the contrary, to think otherwise, wouldn't you? Of course, with the internet, the 'tailors' don't even have to take the trouble to visit you personally (unless you pony up £50 - £150 / hour) - you flock to them.
Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose...
PS Unless, of course, this is a very sophisticated marketing exercise in reverse psychology, and stonecastle is AKA Richard La Ruina...

It wasn't that long ago that I'd punch someone in the face when they pissed me off; now I just delete them from Facebook - that'll show the mother-fuckers...

seduction I am crap at. I have many female friends who I laugh with flirt with and spend quality time with many I have known for 10 to 20 years. 2 or 3 I have mentioned sploshing too and a couple have had clothed showers for me or accidently on purpose fallen into a river ...
Now I have a mate who in his youth could have been called a pick up artist or aka that dirty smelly tart with rotting teeth, smells of tobacco wears the same clothes for 2 weeks and never washes especially if out on the road following bands and often sleeping tough .... now on average on a 20 date tour around the country he would pull a girl after the gig every night either to get a bed to sleep in or to snuggle up/shag with under a bush, boat, bridge etc - on one occasion he pulled twins!
He used no techniques apart from knowing the music being able to buy the girls a drink and having a laugh ..
On one occasional at a Christian Festival he pulled and shagged 3 girls in the same day in his tent ... how did he do that .. just be being a bit different having spikey big hair a leather jacket loads of chains a couple of piecings and being a non-conformist.
Oh and he is now settled with a mortgage, married with 2 cats with the same girl he met 10 years ago who tamed him and even made him wash at least every other day!
I know other "normal" people ex work mates and their friends who claim not to have slept with dozens of girls as quoted earlier in the thread by the professionals but with "hundreds" in a year. One worked as a club DJ so that may be accurate.
I also know some girls who play the game and one work mate who basically had a new "boyfriend" every week, she was not stunning, but she was fun, lively a laugh liked a drink or 3 and really enjoyed life whilst gettijng through about 40 guys in a year!
Me sod this seduction crap, make the most of life, flirt with friends and if Mr/Miss or somewhere in between Right comes along grab it with open hands for a true meaningful partnership built on mutural respect.
Stonecastle just relax and "be yourself" don't follow "rules" it sounds so similar in many ways to pyramid and network sales scams I have been involved with at work.

Oddly enough, your remark had suddenly reminded me of another internet forum which I sometimes used to read out of interest (no connection with anything like Splosh... it was about historical mysteries).
About a couple of years ago the members of this other forum got totally "wound up" by a series of postings which eventually proved to be from some guru in the business of offering seminers, books and training, on miracle sales techniques and self-improvement, "amazing and infallable systems" which would manipulate customers, very like these "pick-up artists" say they can do with women! (One course offered improvements in self-confidence by learning fire-walking...honestly!).
My point is that the guy seemed totally fanatical about the systems, ignoring any awkward questions....and, very interestingly, the forum members were responding just as we are doing with Stonecastle and the LSS. Some simply saw it as nonsense, others asked genuine questions, while others put forward reasoned arguments why the systems were unnecessary in the real world, where common sense and being yourself seemed easier options.
Unfortunately, I wasn't interested enough to follow through the eventual result...but it was some sort of "reverse psychology" to study reactions and behaviour.
Hmmmm. Makes you wonder???

I don't think stonecastle is a wind-up merchant,
his opinions are not exactly respected on LSS, sadly. I think he seems to show a lot of traits which indicate he may be on the autistic-spectrum disorder. (aspergers, I would say)
1. Take things literally
2. Difficulties in social situations
3. Unable to relate to others
4. Difficulty reading/using body language
5. Problems making sense of the real world.

Rulers?
Some of us need the support / crutch of rules to get us through an issue
Maybe that is at the heart of the pick-up 'artists' mantra driven schpeel?
And anyway, if we didn't have rules, where would we be?
Germany!

but I can't prove it.

That is not the point of being a pick up artist! The aim is to have more choice in women.zoegunge wrote:Why are is an entire room full of where people have failed to 'get their target'. .... evidence that no man can get 'any girl he wants'.
But these techniques do actually work as people like Neil Strauss or Adam Lyons. You have not yet pulled using these techniques. You will not pull using these techniques.
I lost a woman I was talking to and getting along with fine on the South Bank in London last summer after I told her she was very pretty. The point is complimenting a woman on her looks is a cheap compliment and has less value. On ther other hand if you get a woman to tell you something interesting about herself and then compliment her on that then that compliment will have more value. No, I LIKE to be complimented on my looks.
The touching in pick up is subtle so that the girl hardly notices it and does not think it is sexual. It is used conjunction with gesturing so it appears natural. To most, flirting should come naturally, you touch someone when you fancy them but when a random creep does it who you don't fancy... you back off.
I have chatted to hundreds of female strangers in a wide range of places and rarely get blown out ie rejected outright. The aim is to not make it appear you are trying to pick them up. The aim is to make it appear that this is a chance meeting, you had to speak to this girl because you needed a female opinion on something or similar.I hate a random man chatting me up on the street, and by the looks of LSS, so do most girls.
By the way I have also gone direct on women in the street or in parks and nearly always had a good response. I only use direct though when it is not really possible to go indirect by asking for a female opinion on something or something similar like a woman is walking down a busy high street. Direct rarely has success even for experienced puas hence their main use of long indirect conversations to try to make it appear you are not hitting on the girl until you have built up comfort and rapport.

You mean France!

If we had to many rules we'd be in Germany

Zoe - that's very interesting...these disorders are a new subject to me, but a quick Google to http://www.nas.org.uk/nas/jsp/polopoly.jsp?d=212 is very revealing, and confirms all the traits which you mention.
Just quoting one sentence from there "To try and make the world less confusing, people with Asperger syndrome may have rules and rituals (ways of doing things) which they insist upon."
I also checked this LSS forum....I rather expected just a slightly sad self-help group, but it really is weird and delusional, actually it's rather disturbing that this is some people's way of life.
