My syntax detector might be set to ' sensitive ' at the moment, but I am more inclined to term it as ' two options' rather than ' us and them ' .

Now you ARE being over sensitive. Leon has already got what he and a few others requested. There is no 'them and us' attitude implied in that. Other options may well exist in the future. The only point I was making is that debate has already been had.

And at no point has this forum not taken that idea seriously. In fact, we were one of the first to suggest holding a more outrgeous event as well if you wanted to make the London meets more conservative (I suppose you'll say that word is wrong as well). The mere fact that people on this forum have gone along with the rules proves that they have taken that idea seriously. Yes, we made jokes about it too, but at no point did we imply people should ignore any rules you wanted.

As for who is going to organise it, after three days of being told off for our behaviour, frankly we are not in the mood right now.

It's quite a labour intensive operation with a liberal sprinkling of reminder posts. We are certainly not green in this matter anymore.
It really always was a case of making the other meets more outrageous, not really at all so much about toning down the London Meets !

It is a shame you feel the way you do about not organising an event after a healthy debate. Probably for the best though. Let everyone take a step back and re-assess the situation.

Here is what I see!

No more flaming or attacking here, I believe now that all points have been clearly raised within one post! Full disclosure!

Now people can see all sides and see that we are all very similar, sure there are non-CDs and CDs, but essentially we all one under the heading WAM!

We seemed bitterly fractured, that is why I was bothered, it was not about what I want! The fact that implications of prdjudice were even being thought of or implied is what was bothering me!

Its so not the case, brushing it under the carpet was no longer an option!

I'm sorry if people thought I was being bitter or reopening old wounds!

"at no point did we imply people should ignore any rules you wanted. "

Nobody EVER demanded ANY rules. No rules were ever laid down. A polite request was made - that's all. Which is why it's insane that the whole thing errupted into a "poor me, I'm being victimised" scenario.

I feel this is drawing too a close, at long last I feel people have finally said how they really feel, it may have been a bumpy ride, quite deffiently a neededone.

I hope this will make any old wounds start to re-heal.

I personally would like to thank Bill for his mod duties during this, thanks for allowing people to be as open as they wish.

regards to you all.

Why did I even bother looking at this thread today? Silly Dolly indeed.

I'm one of the most open minded people I know. I do respect others boundaries. I don't like being given shit..and i don't care how anyone defines it, i was beginning to explode at some of the posts made. I for one, apologise to Hayley that this has even happened.

Now, come on..who wants the last word? I know someone will... maybe someone can join the forum specifically to rant..... *shrug*

Anyway, enough of me. Let us all just get on with it. No applauding, arse licking or flaming needed.

I'm off to practice my monologues and singing. Then get drunk, again. Problem? Nah, didn't think so.

I still want to come to a meet; funny every time I see Bill's comments I just think they are on a page of the magazine and so immediately lighthearted. You've ruined my fantasy though, when I saw what happened I immediately reacted like Bill and imagined myself meeting our WAM stars Chantelle and Cede at the bar in their leathers and saying I know we are normal but banal is a bit much - they laugh and I have a really nice evening without finding anyone else. Rotten spoilsports :-P

PS If the non vanilla version happens a very pink version of the Emperor Ming the Merciless will arrive - a prop from my non fetish hobby of bodypainting. Be afraid, be very, very, afraid.

PPS I still think you are all nice people, all I see from these posts is deep hurts surfacing.

Meantime - I have a problem. My wife is very supportive of my sploshing but doesn't get it. She bought LOW FAT custard because it was a " waste" to use the real stuff and when I wanted to be a human trifle she objected to the hundreds and thousands but was happy to sprinkle cinneamon. OK, I may get the first WAM Michelin restaurant star but really, how do I get the basics across to her guys/gals?

Now if you all feel you've had your say, can we please move on?

I hope the last word though will come from Dolly (though it will probably be Phantom) cause I know the wrath of upset women (especially recently).

Also waits for Easy As to point that there are two many sets of brackets in that sentence.
