Good to think that at one minute intervals sploshers are leaving opposite ends of the country (well, you know what I mean!) to hit Birmingham.

I leave Bristol at 11.10 ... and arrive at 12.26, 1 minute before dids on the 11.03 from Euston. If there's anybody else on that train, get in touch, and we'll share a cab to the pub.

It's only half a mile to the pub from New St Stn so long as you come out the New St exit. Then you walk straight up Corporation St. Cabs leave (or used to) from opposite side of the station so you will be paying for a trip round the one way system!

Anyway...I would love to think nastygunge will be in a bunker at the pub watching flashing lights on a huge map of the British Isles as they all converge on Birmingham.

I think I'm getting a lift but if not I'll be on the train arriving in Birmingham at 12.14 (another one for NG to add to his tracker map)

I imagine him sitting there in a helmet, pushing little yogurt pots around a large map...

If you have to come by train hun I arrive on a Virgin Service from Euston at 12.27 and Mike is on a Cross Country service from Bristol getting in a few minutes before me. We are going to meet up in the station and walk down together, you would of course be very welcome to come with us so you can help 2 ol codgers along pmsl xxx

Cheers dids. I just got my lift confirmed though and think I'm gonna be the first one there, the person being over worried about traffic and finding it. Sigh!

Have just re-arranged my timetable for the same reason (and to avoid engineering work in Kent). I can't do rushing around any more. So may be early too.

I'll be braving the delightful X51 around 12, so should be there by 1240, sounds like I could be the last to arrive at this rate!
