Are you suggesting that the rest of us are philistines?

"If you're calling the author of 'A la recherce du temps perdu' a loony, I must ask you to step outside."

How many letters are you replacing in 'f**cking' that it needs two asterisks?

See you Saturday, Richard.

Mike.

I assume Richard of the perfect spelling and grammar was spelling fucking phonetically as if coming from someone of the northern persuasion ie fooking. Or he was plain wrong.

Sorry I can't be there, folks. Just too much to do. Have a good time, too much to drink and moan at me never going anywhere any more.

The weather looks good...

#1 Well I did spend all of my working my life in Cumbria. (Thanks Bill)

#2 It wasn't meant to convey obscenity just the word 'flicking'. (Unlikely)

#3 It was composed after consumption of a lot of Australian Merlot.(True)

#4 My finger may have slipped. (Clutching at straws)

Must go now, I've got a train to catch. See you all later.

As most of the rest of them have gone mud wallowing or something, may I say thank-you to Mike for organising the gathering. It was an international occasion including Ann(e) & Eric from Belgium, Jonny from Cornwall and Wamadeus from Geordieland. Welcome to England, all of you.

The highlight of my day was seeing the brand new A1 pacific "Tornado" at Temple Meads when I got off the train. :D

Oh, and of course meeting the lovely Sammie-Jane again! :D :D :D

Disappointed we didn't see Candy  .

Dids, I hope you will get better soon, you are greatly missed from the scene :( .

Gutted i couldn't make it down myself guys due to home dramas which have now been sorted out.

Was gonna try and see if i could make it to the mud shoot today but couldn't get hold of anyone last night for any details lol.

Sounds like you had a lot of fun (and that Rich had a lucky escape due to Candy not being there hahahah).

Well I had a lovely time. And the restaurant was in staggering distance of my abode, what more could I ask for. Many thanks for organising this again Mike. :D

The roll-call for the 3rd Bristol Splunch was as follows: -

Mike Nomic
Sammi-Jane
Gungemegood
Aufpet
Bondageboiir (Happy Birthday for later this week)
Moddermonster + 1 (Honourable mention for the furthest travelled - Belgium!)
Richard (changing his handle to 60163?)
Jonny
Thrillseeker
Wamadeus

Many thanks to all of you for making it a great afternoon/evening.

I regret there's no photo as everybody forgot/had flat batteries/no room on their card/didn't feel their phone was up to it, etc. Similarly, there's no card - well, it is only the third Bristol meet, and most people aren't writing at only three: maybe there'll be a scrawled offering next time. :)

Sorry to miss Candy and Dids - Sploshman, you're a lightweight!!

Today's mudshoot - Sammi-Jane, Erik, Ann, Thrillseeker was epic. I'm knackered, and there's still a huge amount of laundry to do.

Don't forget - we'll be doing it all again on August 22nd and 23rd, with the possibility of another marathon mudshoot the following weekend.

Will be there next time for sure as i'm bloody gutted with the way things went this time around with me getting down there :).

Glad everyone had a good time and it's a shame i missed Erik and Ann down there too :(.

What does one do after a Splunch?

Let Sammi dress up and play in the mud, of course.

We'll be doing it all again in August, possibly with some other girls as well as Sammi.
