Sin Cities - TV Show

Chat, flirt and fantasise about everything wet and messy

I know this is very "off topic" but....

Thats Marine Court alright. it is now floodlit. Cherries is still a big bar but it is now very modern and called the Kollege Kantina (the upstairs function room has gone). Cherries had a wonderfully 'bad' reputation for drugs and fights but I never had any problems in there.

The pub just up from the traffic lights was called the Yorkshire Grey for a time then became the Admiral Benbow and was also refitted. For a while it was run by two trannies and known as the Yorkshire Gay but that was before I moved down. The 'cool bar' was probably Diva 2 which is now Bar Blah and still cool if you like bottled beer and people playing pan pipes.

The huge sports bar in Hastings is still going under about its fifth change of name as is indeed The Crypt!! Still exactly the same!! Of course Hastings now boasts a big Yates (where WH Smiths was) and a huge Weatherspoons (replacing the TSB Bank where I got my mortgage!). Now if you had ventured along the seafront towards West St Leonards instead of Hastings you would have come eventually to The Fountain (after passing Splosh House, of course). It was spectacularly rough in those days so I didn't use it much, but five years ago it changed hands and is now the home of Hayley's dressing up and Saturday Slut antics and my occasional bad clothes moments and ever-so-slightly pissed behaviour.

You'll have to come for a nostalgia trip - and a pie from Dolly next time she's down here.

Thanks for going off topic there Bill. Brings back some good memories. I never passed the course though because it was a requirement to do shorthand to 100 words a minute. I just can't do that.

I did go west from Marine Court a few times. I remember having to write a story about a pub called the Bulverhythe that had a mini zoo in the back garden. lol.

I'd love to come back down there for a nostalgia trip and of course, I'd go anywhere for some pies from DD.

Maybe there could be a meet up in St Leonards some time.

Sorry everyone for taking the chat away from its original subject.

Cool - I'd be happy to see a lot more of a performing Dolly.....

Glad you enjoyed it Doll - and long may it continue for you.
It wasn't that long ago that I'd punch someone in the face when they pissed me off; now I just delete them from Facebook - that'll show the mother-fuckers...

I am absolutely delighted! And a bit jealous. Just wish I'd had the nerve to do that when I was your age. You are my hero. Big time.

That's a real shame about Sin Cities. Try sending your CV to John Waters instead, DD. Somewhere out there your big chance is waiting.
Look, if you're all going to throw pies around would you mind throwing them at me!!!

OOooo John Waters, now that would be something! I'll have to get a showreel to him, although i bet I'd be amongst a trillion people with better costumes , ideas...location.... *sigh*

but your optimistic words have made me grin lots and lots :)
