Ouch
managed to tear my calf muscle Sunday night pushing a car up a slope onto my garage,
So far the only way I have been able to walk on it is in heels, yeah I know, the out of London meets are vanilla so I won't be comming as Laura but I may turn up wearing heels so I can at least get to the meet without having to limp painfully on flats and bring something more vanilla to change into

As far as I know, 'vanilla' means no messiness; we've had convincing looking cd's before with no problems. Our group will be on your side and If you can confidently carry it off I don't see why you shouldn't wear heels with the rest of the fem stuff. Good luck!

Hello, I'm not a regular poster on this board, just a curious bystander, but I noticed this was happening, and I'm in the Bristol area, so I may pop along for a bit to say hi. See you there if I make it.

Yep I've popped along as Nina before for a few hours and possibly may do Saturday again.
As I said before if anyone who helped me with my quarry film last year wants a copy of the finished film let me know as I'll bring a few along with me. Probably not going to stay for the meal again as usual I have things to do in the evening

Wow, what a meet - great to see everyone, excellent turn out, and as the fountains let me down I got an epic soaking outside the pub, at my request... with six pitchers of icy water. Pics and vid to follow on here and will put the vid on youtube when I get it
Had a really great time!

Yes, one of the best meets I've attended so far. A good turn-out but just enough to get round almost everyone to have a decent (or indecent) chat. The ice-water annointing of Candy was a highlight, I almost felt jealous as it was such a warm afternoon. Thanks to everyone who spared the time to say "Hello" to me and I'm sorry if I missed anybody.

Bottoms Up!

Thanks to everyone there for a great time - and a slight dampening in the 'fountains' such as they were...
Candy's jugs will have to wait a while though
But in the meantime, here's the majority of people who were there (some were shy, some had had to leave early) and the card we all signed.
Another successful meet!

Sounds a lot of fun and probably more amusing than the comedy night I got lumbered into organising in my pub. Oh well (sigh).

Re: Bristol Splunch 9 - 26th May 2012
Just back from Bristol, sunday evening, had a lovely time meeting new and old faces, after the dinner we went down to the fountains and had a splash around which was fun and much needed.
someone mentioned there were fountains further down so Mordicus, Henry and me went for a look at millenium square.
they were were awesome and recconised them from some of Leons shoots, they were all working and the water seats were great fun, so much so Me and Mordicus spent hours there earlier today in the sun, loads of people making full use of them too.
definatly a thumbs up from me, cant wait to get another chance to play in them again !!!
thanks to mike for setting the meet.
and thanks to Bristol for some fun fountains that are designed to be played in!!!!!!!!
