Only been to The Ball once (Bill's been a couple of times). It is a bit pretentious but worth seeing, and some of the acts are good. The outfits varied from some great rubber uniforms etc to full Mardi Gras costumes which I found a little over-the-top. Get there early to get a seat - that way people come to you to chat, and you can spectate (or gawp in Bill's case).

The trouble with rubber is you get really warm (and dare I say sweaty) dancing in the pub and then freeze the moment you go outside for a cigarette.

Was at the Fountain last night in something shiny and fortunately it was quite mild, even so a bit chilly on the nips! Apparently my dirty dancing impressed Shane the barman and he's only 19! Dragged a few guys up with me too (yes, I was pissed) and they limped off very happy. Sorry, this has turned from a piece of advice into an ill-disguised boast!

Err...rubber great indoors, freezing outdoors!

i agree with hayley.but on the other hand it can also be abit of a turn on being all sweaty under several layers of rubber.like wise it's always a turn on(well for me anyway....)to see a sexy female with hard nips tiring to poke through cold rubber :D :D :D

i might have to visit the fountain pub if the ever so fine hayley turns up wearing super sexy shiny clothes :D :D :D no wonder the barman was happy!!

Ohhh fetwear - my favourite

I have a collection of pvc fetishwear - wear them for private play but also to events like TortureGarden and the irish fetish/bdsm event - Nimhneach (on this saturday yay).

For those looking for good quality SUPER CHEAP pvc wear - which can be custom made to your own measurements, in ebay key in charming lycra latex - there are a couple of shops in china all use these keywords in their titles of catsuits and lots of other pvc stuff.

Happy shopping :)

BTW - anyone any idea how to clean the inside of pvcwear if u wam in it? Id LOVE to wear some of my outfits for WAM play but would be concerned about ruining them.

That blue jacket is currently on sale on Ebay brand new in a size 10 for 25 pounds.

Thought you'd like to know.

That is a nice look beatrice. I adore PVC gloves just something about the look of them. I find PVC quite cold, I used to enjoy a good beating in a SM Club and I used to wear a PVC dress (I'm not sure why I chose to crossdress, more than likely to do with my fetish for long gloves.) and after a session I often use to find the material cold when I put it back on.

TG from what some friends said who went was that it is very Look orientated you really do need to look the part, not much play takes place in comparison to other clubs.

Cheers.

This is true - which is a shame as it started off quite 'active' and has now become another poseur paradise.

Generally, turn them inside out and pop in the washing machine, but don't use any fabric softener (it makes PVC go slimy).

If you get anything really messy, hose it out with cold water before putting it in the wash.

Wow - I never find it like that at all, I always find it to be a super friendly atmosphere where anything goes (outfit wise).

And in terms of play - its non-stop (both for watching and for doing). Its a visual and actual play paradise for me.

Am dying to go again soon !
