Thanks to all who came to the second Bristol Splunch and made it such a good day. I hope you all had a great time, and look forward to seeing you all (and others) at the next one, probably early in 2009.

Yes, for those that didn't make it, you missed the chance to meet and chat with Sammi-Jane (who says hi and thanks to all for being such a nice bunch) and to join her for dinner in the evening.
Actually, we all missed the opportunity to join her for dinner in the evening, due to a large absence of dinner following a power cut. Some had a starter, but the only person to get a main course was Wamadeus - one up for Bristol.

On the Sunday shoot, when we were joined by Sploshman (later than usual arrival even for him) and Thrillseeker, Candy managed (not without considerable help from Sammi) to completely immerse herself in mud in a standing position (photos to follow) before heading off for Tiswas night.

just back from the tiswas do! a great time had by all I think even with no electric no food and not an ounce of sense between us

thanks to everyone who made it and to mike for organising it... will post something a bit longer when im not so done in, god that mud was hard to get out of lol

.....blame that on a painful abcess right where it didn't need to be lol.

Shame i missed the Saturday meetup - would of been good to see you guys again (and newbies too).

Had a great time on Sunday with the mud shoot and then the Tiswas event.

Was lovely to meet Sammy Jane and i was well star stuck :oops:

Considering that i really should of been in a hospital bed (not an exaggeration) it was definatley worth it

Even got be back in the mood to do Sploshman's Advenutres again possiblliy

Right got the net back up!

A big thanks to everybody who turned up. Mike for setting the whole thing up. I had a brilliant time. Their are so many highlights of the day its hard to talk about them all.

Jammed has some well dodgy vids, from the pub in the dark. If I get chance I'll get him to either upload them, or drop the footage here and I'll sort it.

Greetings from Germany, the land of the big sausage (stop sniggering at the back.) Had a great time at both the Bristol meet and the Tiswas day on the Sunday (ended up in a right state after that one as those there will confirm).

Particular thanks are due to Mike for organising the meet and Smiley for being my wheels for the weekend, particularly rescuing me from Bristol when I made that unscheduled overnight stop, ending up drinking red wine on the bed with Candy and Jonny. (Don't ask). The presence of genuine celebrity in the forever perfect form of Sammy Jane really added to the occasion.

Missing you all already
