I’m hoping to make a simple tribute to the late Bill Shipton at this meet.

Also, for those that haven’t already done so, please let me know if you’ll be joining us for dinner in the evening.

Incidentally for those arriving at Bristol by train, look out for this strange work of art:
a sort of pixellated girl.

Or if that's not your cup of tea - there are a number of painted Gromit statues dotted around, and people are being encouraged to go and find them.

There's even an app to tell you how close you are to one at any time...

Or just come to the pub; drink, eat, chat and sod art.

All I can remember of Bristol is that it all seems to be uphil
It has been a while since I was last there though.

I can't make it but hope everyone has a great time, I am sure you all will.

Hello Mike

Not wanting to tread on your toes if you do have something planned for the sunday, but.... We have just filled the Dunk Tank full of clay. If you have a mud location planned then I wouldn't want to suggest it, but if you haven't or the weather is dodgy then we are just up the M4 at Junc 12 (Reading West). I'd be happy for the "regulars" to come and have a play but in an ideal world would 1 or 2 of the girls like to come to allow a shoot so we can add something to the download store to help cover the costs of filling it.

If you think its something you'd like to tag on to the splunch for the sunday then I'm sure we can arrange something.

Just got to sort out the trains now (unless Mike can send a steam loco to Southampton & pick me up in my posing pouch! )

Well, not quite one to take you there, but there are two working out of Bristol on the Sunday! Pick your seaside resort, Weymouth at 0820 [Nunney Castle or Britannia] or Paignton at 0915 [Braunton] I've got maps printed off, tickets sorted, and a heap of #projectGM ideas to work on so hopefully a productive weekend! I get to Bristol quite early so might do a bit of touristing [or just get lost and call it touristing!]
