I have to confess I spotted it as soon as the first Messygirl picture appeared (if I was in any doubt, the file name of the picture confirmed it).

It was so obvious, in fact, I nearly posted a comment along the lines of “you’ve put the wrong picture up” or something like that.

But I didn’t because I wondered if there was something everyone else knew that I’d missed, as a lot of regular contributors seemed to be happily going along with it.

To be honest, it seemed so desperately tragic that I felt a bit too sorry for them to spoil the party…I suspect this is the reason why so many others didn’t say anything.

There are many occasions when we led threads ride even though we are suspicious of their reality so long as they are 'harmless'. As a former magazine editor, I find it hard not to remove things I think unsuitable or correct spelling/grammar etc but this is a public forum and therefore I feel it is up to the members not the moderators to judge the people on it. All we ask is that you do so in a 'polite' way. I think a number of fantasy-style posts survive on this forum because, although people are suspicious of their veracity, they make an entertaining read. As I said earlier, we have no problem with people fantasising about events and relating them so long as they don't pass themselves off as someone else or pretend they are true to the extent that they steal somebody else's photos to illustrate them.

For instance, it would be just as exciting to read if (lets call him) Male X wrote, "Last night my wife was nibbling on a Creme Egg and I couldn't help thinking how horny it would be if she'd dropped it down her panties like Girl Y did in these pictures...." followed by a fantasy of how she would have reacted and what happened next.

That would have been ok. Pretending to be someone else and nicking pictures to 'illustrate' it clearly is not.
