Charlie Cairoli tributes?
Re: Charlie Cairoli tributes?
Good idea Bill. I'll pop them in the post to your PO Box 70 address at St L-O-S . Then, once you've scanned them in, perhaps you'll forward the originals to Splattella if s/he would still like them. Re Charlie - I seem to recall Richard Murdoc (of Much Binding in the Marsh fame with Kenneth Horne, back in the 1950s) saying on a radio programme that he interviewed Charlie Cairoli once and found him to be one of the most happiest and contented men he had ever met. Thus confirming what we all know - that sploshing makes you happy and is good for you.

He was interviewed on Parkinson many years ago and seemed pretty content then! Look forward to material.

Happy Splosher, you are a darling. I believe in sharing and I'm sure that this site would benefit from Charlie Cairoli material. The influence that man had on many of us is obvious.

Blimey that was loud! Good clip though. (I wonder who added all the non-original sound effects?)

Thanks, Julie, that's exactly the sort of thing I've been missing all these years. Looking forward to more clips.

Yes, it was great to see it again. Despite the added on effects and Tony Blackburn (what a dork!).

I was in an Italian restaurant the other day . Saw Canelloni on the menu & couldn't resist the Louise Hodges joke "...haven't they got any fresh loni or must it come in a can?...." from 'Pretty Clumsy Woman'. Thanks Bill for making the girl I was with laugh!

Bottoms Up!

Sadly, I suspect the market has changed. Though, my plan is to bring that style back before I die!!

Oh please do. Besides it would be so new to many that it could be the next big thing in comedy (things always go in cycles (most of the time it's the ones with the offset hubs or reversed handlbars)).
WAMBAM Productions - Open, pour, come see the mess in-store.
