Fingers crossed here as well Dids - medical technology nowadays is fantastic, so I'm hoping that diagnosis was a Doctor with a pessimistic streak!

Best of luck to you, I hope you make a full and speedy recovery.

I've known of Dids' ill-health for some time, and we've chatted about it once or twice at meets. I'm sorry to hear that the prognosis is not as hopeful as it might be.

I look forward to better news, and hope to have Dids as a member of this quirky community for a good long time to come.

All the very best mate - fingers and toes are firmly crossed for you.

Mike.

Very sorry to hear about your continuing illness. If you need a nice (but clumsy) PVC-clad Macmillan nurse, I'll be happy to oblige. Seriously, good luck with the treatment. If only I could kiss it better...

Thanks everyone for the messages and support...I have had 3 bouts of radiation so far and have to see the Consultant again on 5th April.
I will know then whether its going to be Chemotherapy or possibly an operation.

I would like to think i will be able to see you at some forthcoming meets but we shall have to see .

Thanks again everyone

Dids

ps Hayley....I will take up your offer ANY time

Hayley; here's a tasteless cross thread question. Are you available on the NHS? I see that you are 'NICE'
