We are certainly not up for a US v UK debate or making generalisations about the populations of entire nations. Of course there are open people and bigoted people everywhere. Like Bill I think it is a thing that comes over in forums. People get more aggressive and show off for some reason. Therefore don't think of this as a forum. Think of it more as a pub. Don't insult people without expecting to get thumped!

As for labelling, I think that should be optional but being deliberately misleading is bad. There have been posts here where, although never offended or revolted, I have thought "Blimey, I wasn't expecting that!" and I'm not sure that's a good thing.

While I will say that the UMD is a more comercial site than
the Splosh forums. But I can tell you that there are quiet
a few amature splosher/wammers who post on the UMD.
Quiet recent, a man named parrothead posted pics of his
girlfriend who is called Amber. It was a very big hit.

Candy Custard in a post featuring you, someone said you
where very cute. DD is very well accepted over on the UMD.
I've never heard of a ill word about her.

I recognize that the UMD and Splosh are part of a world
community of people who love to get messy. I formaly
apologize for to anyone who has felt that they where
abused on the UMD and wish you all to come and share
their love of getting messy. Now if you still wish to not
come. I will understand and continue to come here and
share my love with you great people.

I'm discouraged you feel that a polite request by one UMD member to add *CD* in your post heading constitutes harrasment. That member even offered up a half hearted apology. Did you happen to notice the resulting 13 positive/encouraging responces (including mine) that you had received prior to your request to have your post removed?

I'm sorry that a few classless people can have such a toxic effect on other peoples attitudes. Maybe some day you'll change your mind about the UMD and will feel welcome there again.

Perhaps you might concidering reporting incidents of biggotry to any of the numerous UMD mods so that they can deal with such matters. Proof would also be a big help to confirm such allegations.

Midniter - the MODs are the very worst thing about the UMD!

You yourself are an exception - someone I've always found to be fair, thoughtful, diplomatic, good-humoured and happy to take a back seat and let things tick along where possible.

But there are several who spring to mind who are bullying, controlling and unfair. Probably people who were bullied themselves as youngsters, and now revel in wielding their power over others.

Heavy handed MODs ruin a forum as much as trolls. I know it's a delicate balancing act at times, but when certain MODs are REPEATEDLY upsetting forum members and getting complained about, then the site owner should politely thank that MOD for their kind help and ask them to pass the baton and let someone else have a try for a while.

My 2 cents once more (I'm running out of money here!)

We can only re-iterate that the Splosh! forum has absolutely NO axe to grind wih the UMD or the American nation! Americans are like everyone else, varied. Some nice, some arseholes. The same is true the world over.

As for the behaviour of the Mods on their forum, we have no real experience of this, so any views expressed here are the personal ones of the writers.

At Splosh, rightly or wrongly, we adopt a 'live and let live' approach to posts which occasionally gets out of hand. But we think we'd rather have it that way than over-policed.

Personally my mind was made up about the UMD after my post congratulating Beatrice and her pictures and then questioning why she had to alert those of a nervous disposition that it contained "male" wam was EDITED on my behalf by a moderator. I seriously have a problem with harmless posts being modified. I really had to comment on why the male warning was asked for - it was no way to welcome a new and real - not for profit - contributor to the umd forum.

As one of those despicable trannies myself (shock horror…lol), I really got the impression that the view being taken was – “here’s yet another tranny getting in the way of my wank!!”. I feel that unless you are posting to suit a straight male audience you are not welcome.

What about the women and other guys who enjoy seeing guys messy? As I know from actually having a messy girlfriend that they do exist!! Back of the net.....

lmao... you've missed my point, Seanooc. I was'nt asking for a defination. I was asking for examples. You know.. proof? It's really easy to make allegations when you have nothing to back up your complaints. AND, if there is a complaint, then alert somebody. Let them know what the problem is. Don't just run off to another forum and voice complaints.

As for the topic of labeling posts, I'm not gonna dredge this decade old debate up again. It's been debated time and time and time again. In the end, everyone just ends up flogging the same old dead horse. For the record, I'm not anti-gay, anti-bi, anti-les, anti-cd/tv. I feel the same as the rest of you lot.
