Proper jobs

Chat, flirt and fantasise about everything wet and messy

Postby BillShipton » 10 May 2007, 10:17

This is my proper job!

After years of being a full time freelance writer (mainly for magazines but with bits of radio and television) and fitting Splosh! in spare moments, now it's the other way round!

Ironically, now I get freelance writers ringing saying they want to write about me and Splosh! and I always think - I should be writing that!

It's not as well paid as the old days, but a lot of fun.

My official job titles are:

1. Senior Administration Manager / Network Manager for a large national
charity
2 Part time Student studying Business & IT Management

Which basically makes me a nerd - hence why i need to Splosh to make me a bit more normal.

I was a manager of a blockbusters, been a waitress lots and lots, worked in bars, primark for a while.

Nowadays I still waitress, as well as sploshing, modelling for art classes and i recently had my first dominating job!

Waitressing V Sploshing... ironically I don't spill as much as my mum when we're out waitressing! ;)

I'm a music teacher - I teach kids (and adults) to sing and play keyboard, guitar and drums. It can be a rewarding job (in terms of satisfaction if not renumeration) and keeps me from having to be a jobbing musician, so I'm free to perform and make music on my own terms without having to focus all my attention on cheesy bread and butter stuff.

all work and no splosh - is so boring!

Postby matt2matt2002 » 18 May 2007, 08:38

Many thanks for the kind comments on this topic.

I find it somewhat therapeutic to hear what other sploshers do.

We know we are all real sensible people - but then we 'splosh' - so we're 'special' in a special kinda way.

Oh dear - I think I need to lay down - in some custard.
