Schoolgirl in the pond

Postby TottyMcGee » 15 Jul 2006, 23:28

We're not afraid to tackle the hard social issues at Wamdrogony, and what can be more important than the terrible spectre of our nation's youth turning to drugs? So, for our latest shoot, I chose to portray the character of a schoolgirl caught up experimenting with weed.

Pondweed, that is. Still, it has to be better than the awful drug awareness videos they showed us when I was at school, though sadly I doubt we could ever be as funny or entertaining as that.

These are all screengrabs from video (hence the lower res.), the full set will go up on the Wamdrogony main site when our server's back up (yup, it blew up again).

Wonderful stuff! If that doesn't encourage more people to take to the 'weed' then nothing will!

:?: What :?: :?

Great pics Miss Helen,

Love those photographs, great subject matter and very well handled from both the WAM aspect and photographic side. Good total soaking and plenty of pondweed for effect.

Not much else to say apart from First Class...
I'm from Bristol, and from late 1998 - 2002 I ran a WAM club (TNMMC). After TNMMC closed I retired from WAM, but I've made a comeback and pleased to say TNMMC is back.

Absolutely loving your pics, Miss Helen!

Top Marks

As for schoolgirls indulging in weed, to misquote Grange Hill - "Just say Yes!"

Brilliant. Please keep posting.

Thanks all! :)

We did have a bit of an audience (not counting the passer-by who appeared walking his dog with a baseball bat just as we were about to get going) in the form of a guy in a light aircraft who flew overhead early on and then circled around for the remainder of the session, getting slower and slower and lower and lower. He stopped short of bailing out to come and join in though.

Jo - your destiny does include a date with that pond. Apparently there are plans afoot to build a guided bus way through that land so we won't have it forever, but we can definitely get some use out of it this summer.

Can we all get on the bus and bale out halfway across? :)

Seriously, why must everyone's pleasure be sacrificed in the name of 'progress' :( :x

Great photo set Helen;

Maybe you have come up with an idea for treating "weed" adiction that should be applied to all those caught and convicted of smoking illegal substances. The thought of a long line of offenders - of all gender persuations - dressed as schoolgirls, waiting to be dunked in your pond is rather appealing. (It might also provide a reason for your pond to be preseved!)

Yes, the pond could indeed make a great punishment block for troublesome types.

It could be rechristened Lake Asbo.

Must as I approve of public transport... Perhaps a transgender picket in the pond is called for with Save Lake Asbo placards...

Love
Hayley

"Lake Asbo" just caused me to spray tea all over the front of my monitor. Thanks, Hayley.

the pond

Postby andy250 » 17 Jul 2006, 19:36

might get lucky cos the bus way follows, the old train line, I think the pond years ago was part of the marshling yard, never know might get to keep it. Imagine going past on the bus, then everyone gets off and jumps in the pond!!! mad as Cheese............. may use their again I feel.

Miss Helen

Loved the photos and the location - could almost smell that rank stinky pond. The green slime was - well, icing on the cake!

No doubt a thorough deserved ducking for a baaaad schoolgirl.

Watching increasing level of green yucky slime on the peat pool with all recent sun, but dont think we'll get to your level

I know risks being boring ( thats me ) but would also applaud your openess about your interests. I remain a nervous wreck hidden in a remote forest - let alone somewhere with more than a 1 in 25000 chance of a passer by! Whether wanted or not - thank you.
