The clocks went forward! Did anyone notice...

Postby Smiley » 30 Mar 2008, 02:19

So come on then.

Who did not remember about the clocks going forward! Can you believe it, it's suppose to mark the start of British summer time, not that it's anything like summer at the momnet...

Who is dreading that extra hour less in bed on Monday morning!

I'd best try and adjust the time on here then so we don't spend 6 months with the wrong time :D

Pah! Rubbish! I've changed the time on the forum but it looks like each individual person has to change their timezone in their profile :( I'll investigate further when I have time.

I did the clock in the bedroom, though forgot to do the one in here so it was a tad confusing, when I woke up!!!

Clocking on

Postby matt2matt2002 » 30 Mar 2008, 15:44

It's a little known fact in the Sploshing World - but I wind the village clock.
It was built in 1890 and keeps very good time. I wind it twice a week.
So last night I moved the hour hand forward -
Just thought you might like to know that.

It wasn't that long ago that I'd punch someone in the face when they pissed me off; now I just delete them from Facebook - that'll show the mother-fuckers...

The clocks in my house are all these satellite controlled ones so they put themselves forward. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
