Sad man that I am I dug out this old copy of Fiesta I had in the loft the other day
I think this may have got me into Sploshing big time
I'd never seen anything like it at the time
Anyone else remember this

I can vaguely remember that magazine...would have been in my early-to-mid-teens? I don't think that we attached any "special" significance to the wet- and muddy-ness at the time, just enjoyed seeing sexy girls wearing not-very-much! :D

It was about 16 years ago I think. If I remember correctly Splosh was mentioned in the article.
I then sent away for my first issue, no 5.

Never looked back since

I have that copy of Fiesta here in front of me! - Well, you don't just throw away something costing all of 75p, do you?
I used to buy Fiesta regularly as there was often some wet, mud or paint shots. As Googuy says they are never dated but that one is Vol 16 Number 3 if that means anything. The article is part 2 of 2 about girls getting wet but I seem to have lost the first part :( . I can't see any reference to Splosh mag in this section but may have been in the first part.
The other great mag around the same time was Razzle which was a fairly reliable source of messiness with their Razzle Romps. There is a Yahoo group dedicated to them somewhere but I've forgotten the url.

And you thought you were sad, Googuy?

Hi

Bill's out today but judging by the hairstyles that looks 70s to me, and the cover price seems to confirm that. There should be a copyright mark with a date on somewhere on the flannel panel (the credit listings). Either way it looks like it was pre-Splosh!.

Bill did a feature about Splosh! in Fiesta to coincide with Splosh! No 2 (18 years ago) but that used a lot of the food mess pics rather than water or mud. I remember him writing it under the name of Jim Forrest (he was living in Forest Hill at the time). He also did a feature for them about the World Custard Pie Championships. I was there for that! Incidentally, I here the Pie Championships are back this year!

As you know Bill wrote a lot of the Razzle romps during his period freelancing at Paul Raymond, but I don't think that Fiesta article is one of his. He didn't start being a pornographer till 1981!

Both Razzle and Fiesta before it were always a good source of naked messy fun. However I'm wondering whether I used to by it when it was fifteen shillings rather than 75p? But then again that seems a bit too expensive. It was usually Health And Efficiency or Parade that we pooled our money together to buy.
Kind regards, Spinynorman and Frilly

Still messing about after all these years!

Surely a conacer of a class magazine, without sotonude dedication for keeping the mag we would have no reference.

(sorry having a blokey moment.)

That must have been the one I was thinking of, the age has faded my memory

My first issue was number five though, I think I still have it in the loft somewhere.

Good memories of Fiesta and Razzle for their messy articles and photo shoots. I think it was in the back of one of these mags that Splosh1 was advertised. The day that first brown envelope arrived was incredible
I still bought Fiesta and Razzle afterwards but Splosh was the real deal!
