A word of warning

Postby messyalan » 19 Nov 2012, 21:19

I am the last person to ever stop anyone getting messy but be warned. I like to go out and get muddy and this time of year is perfect as there is mud everywhere. Last January I got caught out when stepping in what I thought was a shallow puddle (I had checked with a stick or so I thought). As you can see I ended up nearly wasit deep.

Now to the point of the story. I went there again this weekend and found this.

Imagine if I had waded into this water and then sank through the mud to waist deep. My head would definitely have been underwater. From now on I am going to carry a long stout pole to check thoroughly before venturing in anywhere.
