I wondered if there is anyone in the USA who might be able to help with my problem? Any suggestions from the UK also welcome.
We got married in Florida in 1995 and have lost our marriage certificate. I have contacted Pinella County court and they can supply a replacement for 3 dollars. However they can only take online payment from a US resident by credit card and the cost only covers postage within the US. The alternative is to send them the 3 dollars by post along with a SAE for the certificate. This is also a problem as I would need to attach US stamps to the envelope. Is there anyone with any bright ideas on how to solve this problem. Is there any company in the US that could apply for the certificate and mail it to us and I could then pay them?
Many thanks for reading.
Alan

Email them and ask if it would be okay to send them 5 dollars - 3 for the certificate and an extra 2 to cover postage and packing.

Not sure if this will help or not?

Thank you very much for your input. They have agreed to put the postage on at their end so can anyone from the US tell me rouglhy how much postage would be from Florida to the UK for an A4 envelope. (That is 12½" x 9").
Thanks very much.

The US Postal Services has a postage rate calculator which might help: http://postcalc.usps.gov/
