How to pick your messy food randomly

Postby messyalan » 20 Feb 2011, 13:41

I have seen a number of posts on here asking for suggestions for messy food. I have also wondered on a way to pick something messy randomly. I think I have come up with one solution and that is to go to your local supermarket and pick someone to follow. Just buy what they buy. You could set yourself limits beforehand like no meat or vegetables and maybe just what is bought on one aisle. Needless to say I had to try it out so my CD side has been out to buy some things to try on her way home from work in her suit. You can see the results at http://www.wtanmse.co.uk/Video/shopping.htm

A few things I learnt is I need a steadier hand when filming in the supermarket and to try to focus on the food. I also need to go when there are more people about as it took ages just to get three items and I had to use three different people.
You could also use the same technique for buying your clothes I guess.

I believe there is (or at least was, if it's not still going) a food establishment in Japan where you're served whatever the person in front of you in the queue just paid for. Obviously, in turn, whatever you order is passed back. Interesting concept, and somehow very Japanese! Not sure what the first customer of the day gets - presumably whatever the last person yesterday paid for.
It wasn't that long ago that I'd punch someone in the face when they pissed me off; now I just delete them from Facebook - that'll show the mother-fuckers...
