A Painful Lesson

Postby CaptainOats » 23 Apr 2010, 17:07

Hi Peeps,

Thought I'd have a quick play in the shower with just a can of rice pudding. The lesson I have learned is to first tip the contents into a plastic container, as I got carried away and tried to reach my fingers into the tin to get to the last of the pudding which resulted in a nice deep cut between my little and ring fingers. It made an interesting colour when the blood mixed with the pudding.
Fortunately it won't need stitching, and being an ex-Firefighter I didn't panic or even cry (not too much anyway)!

So in future, it's plastic containers for me!

Yup, i also been there, done that, it's well worth taking extra time to pour the tins into a bucket. Mine was with a tin of beans, it certanly made the suace red.

So has anyone else had any wam accidents recently?.

Not recently but there are some pictures of Frilly in the archive somewhere sporting a very large plaster on her foot following some problems with broken glass whilst sploshing.
Kind regards, Spinynorman and Frilly

Still messing about after all these years!

Nothing with serrated edges, but I've slipped on my arse in the bath a couple of times!

At the risk of being all Hill Street Blues (being reshown late at night on Channel 4 incidentally), "Be careful out there."
