I agree with the flame war comment, it would be ridiculous if this descended into bickering over something so silly. Obviously the same things are going to crop up over and over. I was doing messy trivia quizzes in 1991 but I nicked the idea from Tiswas!

Wasn't really expecting us to be part of your influences as we are not a 'gunge' site (Hayley's recent photos excepted). If you were doing slapstick comedy and didn't mention us, then I'd probably be Jammed turned up to 11!

There is, indeed, no need for any slating, people should be pulling in the same direction and encouraging everyone who produces material. So, moving on . . .

I am by no means claiming that everything I do is 100% original, in this field this is impossible! In my photography work I nick ideas from other photographers all the time, its art these things can't be copyrighted otherwise the Beatles would have sued Oasis long ago! I think its perfectly fine to admit to being influenced by someone.

. . . and Chuck Berry, Little Richard and Fats Domino would have sued The Beatles and earlier Blues artists would have sued the early Rock 'n' Roll artists . . .
