Ive been chatting to this guy on umd who wants to meet up for a bit of cd wamming, but he wants to meet in a hotel near him, does anyone reckon it could be a good idea or not.

Gungeslut is right about this you need to check on things before you commit, I normally have conversations for a while then swap tel no's or meet up somewhere. To be honest was ment to be doing a session tomorrow, work have phoned and I am going in to cover. I was thinking about saying no due to the fact I have not had much in the way of conversations.

I think I can speak for a lot of people when I say it's not just WAM meetings that can be dangerous, basically use the common sense of any meeting, do it in a public place first, follow all GS and everyone has said, and make sure there's trust.
Of course, to make properly sure you dont end up with your privacy destroyed, dont let the guy take pics.
