I agree, and have not suggested otherwise. The two meets to date have taken place on Saturdays, with outdoor mud shoots on the Sundays. If people want a Splunch other than in the 'summertime', then it will be purely that, unless some loony (no names, no pack drill) wants to do a shoot in snow or freezing mud.

My memories of the meets are perfectly preserved - pickled in alcohol.

There has been no sploshing at the meets, as you well know from being there. If somebody finds a suitable venue, and if it is honestly promoted, who are you or I to say that such a meet should not go ahead? Would you deny the community the Wellingborough Tiswas night?
