I had a look on my camera, and I forgot about it totally. I got befores and afters, but no during... I'd second those peeps - these guys are absolutely mad, and it took me back 8-10 years to my student days!

It's 30 years since I was a student! The only time it came up though was when Holly asked about people's early slapstick influences and she couldn't remember anything before Ministry of Mayhem and Dick & Dom!

Jonny, you heard the lady, get those pictures up!

Now, I'm the first to admit I'm no David Bailey and I do tend to take a fair bit of time over the shot and miss any action or when it does get an action shot, either fingers in the way...

Sophie the diva demanded off Jonny, a white toblerone (unable to find anywhere), diet PEPSI, not coke and a Sherbet Dibdab... However, I did get flying saucers and HSM tat... so I was forgiven, by her royal Poshness!

Anyway in a true Miss World style, here's the pics in reverse order!

Well, there it is. Can honestly say I was dubious about her authenticity at first, but then again I'm a paranoid sod.

I'm sure this will go down a treat at her Uni! :D

Hi guys,

glad you all like the pictures!!!!!

I'd just like to point out that the roll I am holding in many of these pictures was due to photos being taken at lunch time / it isn't a fashion accessory - and it is the same roll I didn't scoff millions!!!

now that I've cleared that up...

thank you all for your wishes with the project! I havn't captured the footage yet because Im taking a break from filming - but when i do i will post some screen grabs!!!

Hx

DIVA?!?!?! You damn right! Hehehe...even though...after all those demands...I did only get the HSM3 Top Trumps (which I already had). Not even a Diet Pepsi (my favourite drink ever, hint hint anyone!!!). Jonny...you failed big time on my demands and therefore must be punished...severely!!!

Plus...to anyone who thinks I just stood around, relaxed by loads of angel delight packs and had a fun time sploshing...you were wrong! I was put under a lot of pressure of doing my makeup whilst answering questions...whilst being extremely hungry!!! It's hard work being me but someone has to do it!!!

Still...a great day was had by all and Holly ate 739 of those sandwhiches so there will have been at least one photo with her holding one! (Hehehe!)

Jonny...next time we meet...WHITE TOBLERONE, DIET PEPSI AND A SHERBERT DIBDAB!!! That will be all...for now!
Peace and Love

Ho-ho-ho....I've just discovered that I was at college with Holly's course tutor, Sue Sudbury! She did the same course I did but a year lower which makes her only a year younger than me. Last time I saw her she was in a nightie, pissed, at a pyjama party at Aston University(as was I) in about 1976!

Small world! She's going to get one hell of a shock when she sees what I went on to do whilst she became a lecturer!!

Who says Birmingham Poly Dip. Communication Studies students would never amount to anything!

Small world indeed Bill. I left Aston uni a bit before you (in 1965). Actually I don't think it was an official university then, it was certainly a polytechnic when I started and I suspect it got its charter only after I was safely out of the way!

Lets not get confused here. In the 70s there was a university at Aston AND a polytechnic in Birmingham (next to one another). I went to Birmingham Poly (as did Holly's 'mentor') , but we used to be allowed to use Aston's student union bar. Birmingham Poly has long gone and is probably called the University of Central Birmingham in Aston or somesuch (if it exists at all!). Aston University was more science based as I remember.

More interestingly, Aston Uni had Halls of Residence (something we Poly students never had) and as a result many of us tried to cop off with female Aston students so they could 'sleep' on campus rather than get the night bus home. I myself remember waking up on the 12th floor of one not absolutely sure how I got there and who I was with.

Of course this is disgusting cheap sexist behaviour which I cannot condone, but the 70s were a different era....

That's interesting; I didn't know about Birmingham Polytechnic, I'd long gone by the '70s. I went to the CAT (college of advanced technology) which was offering external degrees from Oxford University, I think. (I just did the diploma course of the Pharmaceutical Society of GB) It was run alongside the degree course and most of the lectures were shared. About the time I qualified, the CAT got its University charter and started issuing its own degrees as the 'University of Aston in Birmingham'. The CAT certainly had halls of residence at the time but I stupidly commuted from Wolverhampton by motorbike (Velocette 500cc).
