Splosher at the BBC

Postby LeRex » 31 Jan 2009, 15:10

Hi All,

Is it just my strange way of thinking, or have the BBC employed a splosher as a script write for Eastenders.

First, theres a pie fight in a restaurant, in which the waitress got an nice cake in the face (not bad coverage as well).

Next we have various scenes of water, beer and other liquids being pour over various women (and sometimes blokes)...

...and now I have read in the paper this morning that Janine gets covered in paint this week. See piccie. I know it doesn't look like major coverage.

What next?????

I see what you mean. Which is better? Sploshing scenes in Easties v ones in Emmerdale? There's only one way to find out...FIIIIGHT!

Incidentally did you notice during the pie scene that they nearly screwed it up? The foreground furniture got in the way of the recipiant's face in the immediate lead up to the pie but they cut to a different angle once it hit. Made me wonder if they did it twice...

Oh God, I'm turning into a bore...
