There you go then! - Uncle (Auntie?) Claymore does know what he's talking about, sometimes .... just sometimes, mind! :-) Sad to think that 99.99% of the sploshing fraternity will never know how good it feels.

That's quite interesting but I'm having trouble relating it to sploshing. (Cotton Wool in sploshing?) At least, I assumed the question in the thread title was related to sploshing!

Personally, I have what is pretty much akin to a phobia about stuff in my eyes - can't even stand water in them, so I don't do 'over the head' or 'in the face' stuff. (A nurse at the eye hospital rapidly became aware of the problem when she had to put eye drops in on one occasion - I ended up having to do a deal with her to let me do it myself and even that was a terrible ordeal for me!)

I dislike cold baked beans/spaghetti,sploshing or eating. The smell is uuuurrrgh, yet hot/warm is ok.I dont know if anyone else experiences this phenomenon but if i get the juice of said stuff on hands whilst serving it to sprogs i have to wash it off straight away, yet dressed up 4 messyplay i'd quite happily pour it over myself!!am i just OCD? :?

I think that OCD and sploshing go together!

You'd be surprised how many sploshers are naturally very neat and tidy (including me, but definitely not Bill!) and I don't like having dirty hands when I'm not sploshing. No, I don't wash them 100 times a day but Bill laughs when I'm cooking cos if I spill anything I clean it up and wash almost straight away!

I have never tried but do not want to; (cold) beans, spaghetti, soup. I cant pour something on me that smells bad, so if you see me on a country walk no surprise slurry-ing. Any, imo, bean juice is the devil.

My favourite is sticky ice-cream sauce. Its nice and heavy, good colours and its yummy!

Also matty81 - as a psychologist (student) myself, we're all a bit wierd! Only speaking for myself re: gunge sluts but studying the intricacies and abnormalities of people probably makes you a little more open!

Outside of sploshing, I hate to get my hands messy, and will instantly wash off anything that spills of splashes when cooking. Even when actually getting messy, I tend to like to keep my hands clean, at least at first, so if I'm pouring cartons of custard down the inside of my dungarees or into my wellies, I'll be very careful not to spill any on my fingers in the process, even though everything else is getting totally gunged. Weird, I know! :D

I feel quite normal now!Well ok,only slightly!!
Dont worry Eden,if I saw you on a country walk there'd be no slurry involved, but ice-cream sauce?I'll never leave home without it!
I think my favourite has to be porridge, the thick, weighty feeling as it slides over my face, down over my nice clean clothes, into my lap is a feeling next to none.Although I must say I love most messy stuff, but I certainly avoid anything thats very smelly & has come from an animals/humans arse!
