Can I just say I really appreciate the work Bill puts into the blog. The stuff about his career I personally found fascinating - and his insight into the life of the late Paul Raymond surpassed any other obits I had read. Just wanted to let you know how much I for one appreciate your efforts.
Warmest wishes,
David aka Piesplatter
Ps here's a messy maddy picture as a brief way of saying thank you!

Thank you very much Piesplatter. The blog is definitely the most unappreciated bit of our site, and whilst the forum recently broke its record for the number of people on simultaneously (57 on Tuesday night!), the blog totters along on its own unnoticed!
For those too scared to go to the site home page (just about all of you!), you can access it simply by pressing Gooey News at the bottom of this page. I update it when I can - or have something interesting to report. I don't believe in just doing a diary full of my views on everything under the sun (like a lot of blogs) as that would be dull. Try and wait till something interesting has happened. Have some nice anecdotes from a recent visit by Sammy-Jane I will add when I've finished editing the film. It has RSS too so you can be informed when it's updated if you like.
Thanks too for the nice comments about the PR obit. I did help on a couple of 'proper' obits, but I don't think they captured his spirit - probably cos the writers had never met or worked for him.

Let us be the judge of that! I always find your writing very interesting and informative. I for one would like to hear more of your opinions.

Well, come to the pub, fill me with eight pints of Marstons and your dream will come true!
But believe me, you so don't want that (although unlike just about everyone else in St Leonards, I'm not a bigot).

re Bill
I would loveto know more about the early days of the Splosh magazine - and in particular the models you most enjoyed working with and why. Your take on Louise Hodges for example would I am sure be fascinating!!
Keep up the good work Bill.

That's why we have the 'navvy bar' at the bottom of the page on the forum so you can access the rest of the site from here.
