Help Please

Postby splosher32 » 14 Jan 2008, 08:20

Hello,

Can someone please tell me the name of the film where the following scene is from. I think a young david mccallum might be in it, but not sure. Would be very grateful as have wanted to find this film for years.

Thanks in anticipation.

Cheers,

Thanks for all those that viewed, guess clip is either too obscure, or it is just me that loves it for pure humilation...

Well, I'm not a member of wambank so could only view the vidcaps. Very difficult to see what's going on but I don't think it is to my taste. I'm not into involuntary humiliation, which is what I surmise is happening.
I have no idea what the film is called.

Richard as it was a film, quite sure the producers had the girls consent, remember they are just acting!

Clearly I would not advocate such a violent act otherwise.

Still no luck with a name for the film, had hoped Bill might know?

Yes, just acting, and with consent....would be totally unacceptable otherwise, of course.
And I'm quite sure it's not "tar"...maybe treacle or similar harmless mix concocted by the studio Special Effects Dept. :D
Sorry, not sure of the film...the guy's suit looks 1970's, and I have a vague recollection of a "gangster" film from then, either produced by or starring someone from the pop scene of the time, someone sort of Mick-Jagger-status??? (I was too young to go to the cinema then for anything other than kid's films!)

EDIT - just had a quick look through the full list of David McCullum's movies, on www.imdb.com . Nothing obvious, and there is probably insufficient plot detail on the individual film listings to make a full search through every one worthwhile. :(

mystery!

Postby splosher32 » 17 Jan 2008, 00:39

Thanks for racking brains!

God it is driving me nuts, even waded through IMDB today, had no idea David McCallam made so many films, now not even sure it was him!

This is the biggest mystery since why nobody recorded the Kenny Everett 12 days of Xmas gunge fest, where beautiful girls in period dresses got trashed in gunk each time a bird was mentioned, eg and a french hen, cue yellow gunge falling from above.

Am I the only person that remembered this, maybe I dreamt it, think Lenny Bennett was in the sketch with Kenny?

Never seen the Kenny Everett clip either. :(
Have you tried youtube.com...someone's posted a series of 10-minute "big chunks" from his shows.
Might run through them when I have time...he was totally mad!

The 12 Days of Christmas sketch very definitely does exist BUT I have never seen it in its entirety. As far as I know it hasn't been repeated either. Perhaps it will turn up on one of the DVDs. It was on the BBC series not the Thames ones.

Ah yes, I remember it well. Cleo Rocos was in that 'Days of Christmas' sketch and very good it was too.

I have looked at her Google entry [no pun intended] but not found what I was looking for - that great, messy, sexy sketch.

Whoever finds that, and posts it, should get a free sploshing with Hayley or Clare Rose or Clown Julie or Silly Gilly or ......

There are quite of lot of sets of tapes of the shows on Ebay, but impossible to spot any which might include this sketch without emailing the sellers. Would it be a bit obvious to guess that it might be from one of the Christmas specials...seems there was a BBC one in 1984, and possibly an ITV one in 1986(?).
