uploading small video files

Postby Scottc38c » 23 Aug 2007, 12:20

Hello,

Excuse my ignorance as have just joined.

I tried to upload a quicktime video file of a friend gunging herself in the shower. Alas was unable to share.

To I presume for bandwidth reasons I cant upload a video. The format is as such it uses less space than couple of pictures.

Cheers,

Scott

I would send an e-mail to muckypup and ask him the question. If not upload onto youtube or something similar and do a link to it through this thread.

regards

Try it again, I've added mov files to those allowed (assuming it is mov).

Otherwise I'll second what Andy says - upload to youtube and put in a link.

PM me if you have trouble.

Hey,

Thanks for the advice fellas.

It is a 3G type file, video from a decent quality mobile phone, plays with quick time only on the laptop.

Anyway tried again and will not upload, says file type not allowed or words to that effect.

Not really keen on posting on youtube as she just gave me permission to post here.

Actually thinking about it, guess if posted it here, anyone could then post on youtube?

Shame as its quite a odd video of pretty woman washing her hair in rice pudding.

Sounds like a great video :) You could rename the file to have a .mov extension, then it would allow you to upload it here :)

If you can rename it .mov and it still works you can try that, otherwise let me know what the extension is and I'll try to allow it.

Or I've PMed you my email address and you can send it there and I'll try and sort it.
