Hi all,
ever since i heard about wamming, via an ad for splosh yrs ago, which included 'mushy peas for nurse angie' i've always wanted to see what mushy peas are like for wamming.
As i live at home n hav limited time to clean up etc, i thought i'd ask the experienced wammers among the forum for advice
Does the green gloopy stuff stain etc?
maybe a silly question, but any advice re mushy pea wamming

Hi,
In my experience there is no problem in using mushy peas for WAM and I've never encountered any problems in the resulting mess staining clothing. I suppose there is a slight possibility that any white clothing may stain slightly if left in contact with the gunge for a prolonged period, but as long as you wash the clothing soon after getting them messy you shouldn't expereince any problem.
If you want to try mushy peas go ahead, I suggest for ease of cleaning up stand (sit or lay) on a heavy duty polythene sheet, then it's easy to dispose of the mess, just pick up the sheeting by the four corners and wrap the whole lot in a bin liner.

I'm from Bristol, and from late 1998 - 2002 I ran a WAM club (TNMMC). After TNMMC closed I retired from WAM, but I've made a comeback and pleased to say TNMMC is back.
