Hooray!! Found a New Claypond

Postby messymercedes » 31 May 2007, 17:18

As i mentioned some time back Barling has undergone loadsa work durin the winter and they have ruined it, Dids has spent hours on Google maps and Earth looking around and we pinpointed several promising areas.

Anyways last weekend off we went in all the rain exploring, i was dressed in waterproof jacket and trousers and "Waders" Honest

We trudged through swamps etc and at the 3rd place we went to "HALLEJUHAH"

Its a bit public though and even with the rain people were about walkin their dogs but as u all know that dont bother me, and i soon had an interested admirer of about 70 years old Bless him  watching me.

Course i had to give it a try, went up to my chest probably deeper as well, u ever tried walking in waders filled with sloppy clay?

We did have a camera with us so pics have been taken, will get dids to post one .

Only downside is thats its a lot further for us to go than Barling but worth it. :D

Luv

Cede xx

Cedes,

I would love to see pics of you in waders slopping around in mud!!

Always love a pretty girl in rubber boots.

Wait in anticipation.

Darren.

Glad too see you found a new location Cedes, seems it could be a good location. As we well know outdoor shoots always run the risk of people passing by its just one of those things.

regards

H'ya custardwellies, this is jus b4 i went in over the tops .

The clay was chest deep at one point an prob deeper if i had worked it or waded around a bit. :P It dont look it but the far reeds were actually about 20 yards away its wider than you think, didnt get right over as the rope wasnt long enough lol

No more pics till they are on server folks.

(the rope was for safety as we had'nt been here ever b4 an did.nt know jus how deep it was)
