For those of a gothic persuasion, there is a programme on Channel 4, Thursday 1st March 9pm about Augustus Pugin - "The God of Gothic".
Bottoms Up!

??? Are you seeing the same text I'm seeing? There's nothing remotely sarcastic about it - I was thanking sotonude for posting the information, and making a joke about my bad memory and almost-never-have-it-on TV habits. Last time I watched a broadcast TV show was X-mas day last year, and the time before that was the previous October. I'm not a TV person so while I occasionally see references to programmes I'm interested in, I usually forget to watch them. This one though is a must-see!

Can you explain what you thought was sarcastic about it? :?:

I have to say in defence of Dm it is true that he is not a big tv person, Miss Helen has told me this, where as I do like me telly later on. Plus I have to admit I have started watching 'Hotel Baylon!!!' so maybe Dm is right in not watching the box. (Their is some crackin office wear though Dm loads of women power dressing etc. Miss Helen get the pies!!!)

regards

Andy

No offence intended, DM1.

Didn't realise you had a thing about telly. As Andy 250 says "I have to say in defence of Dm it is true that he is not a big tv person".

Perhaps I ought to get to know you all a bit better before I start trying to josh with you.

Ok, fairysnuff. It's not so much that I have anything against TV - I just don't have the time to watch it, spend too much time on the net or out clubbing instead. :D

Did manage to see this one though - wow! I knew Pugin was good, but I'd not realised quite how good. And all that work in just 16 years! Cool about Scott including Pugin on the Albert Memorial at his own expense too.

Are you coming to the Splunch on Saturday?
